One night, five dinners

On a gorgeous evening in the great Northwest, more than 600 people from all over the world gathered for dinner at the Certified Angus Beef ® Annual Conference. They wanted to experience Oregon’s fantastic flavors and majestic scenery.

Guests could dine with dignitaries, enjoy the cowboy way, experience a perfect pairing, eat on the trail or escape on a twilight canoe ride. Settings differed, but the meals had one thing in common: exquisite flavors from showcasing some of the region’s best ingredients.

Come along with us on a culinary journey …

One great night and five unforgettable meals.

The Presidential Dinner
Chef John Doherty has cooked for more presidents, royalty and heads-of-state than any other chef in the country. Guests enjoyed his best dishes from these dinners at a formal affair featuring a special visitor!

The evening began with a presidential address …

… and ended with great fanfare. While Chef Chris Hodgson of The Great Food Truck Race fame offered hails to the chief impersonator, guests enjoyed Chef Doherty’s authentic presidential menu in a capitol-inspired ballroom.

The El Gaucho Experience
The legendary Seattle steakhouse feast was a mouthwatering meal on the shores of Alpine Lake. Guests concluded the evening with a twilight canoe trip.

El Gaucho visionary, Paul MacKay, welcomed guests to the evening of fine food, friends and majestic mountain views.

Cowboy Dinner
Guests experienced the romance and exciting tastes of unique Western heritage with authentic chuck wagon cooking. The evening included buckboard wagon rides, roping exhibitions and campfire songs.

And the steaks? Sizzlin’.

Oregon Ale Trail
Guests embarked on a quest to find the finest beef and beer in the Northwest. They sampled new brews with each course from Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon.

 An Evening of Red
An exclusive dinner at Crosswater Golf Club featured the Certified Angus Beef ® brand paired with Chateau St. Michelle Wines.
