I’m a country girl at heart who loves to travel the world, explore other cultures and return to my roots at the end of the day. If I’ve gone missing, first check the barn, then maybe the nearest airport. My heart skips a beat when I board that flight to the next adventure. I get equally excited to sit in a saddle, walk through a pasture or get lost in the barn for hours. If I’m not writing or talking about beef, most likely I’m off doing an outdoor sport of some kind, reading, running, spending time with those I care about most, cheering on the Buckeyes (I’m an avid supporter and alumnus of The Ohio State University), or making a mess in the kitchen as I attempt to create the most recent recipe I’ve decided looks delicious.
